Having spent the last 21 years working in Office Administration & Accounts, the decision to qualify to become a Nail Technician was mainly due to the sad closure of a dear friends business, where I worked for sometime.  Never being one for further education or exams, I soon realised that learning new skills was enjoyable and equally would benefit others as well as myself.  So, on a whim, I subsequently booked myself on a Spray Tanning course, which I felt would add further depth to my portfolio of new skills....and who know's what will come next.....BUT  for the time being I intend to give Pink Elegance my all and provide my clients with an all round service they will want to choose time and time again.

Beauty, fashion and style have always interested me from an early age; I can remember experimenting with my Moms lipstick, blusher, nail polish etc when I was a little girl.
 I became bored of my pressured sales job of 15 years, so I made a huge decision to leave the 9 to 5 and return to college as a full-time student, where, for two years I studied to become a Beauty Therapist at Tamworth College.  I gained NVQ level II and III and in 2004 the college awarded me Beauty Therapy Student of the Year.  After qualifying, I took a position at Hoar Cross Hall Health Spa, where I spent 4 years and gained more qualifications and experience, working with product ranges such as Elemis, Thalgo, Jessica and Clarins to name but a few; providing thousands of treatments to clients from all walks of life including Celebrities and Royalty.  I worked extremely hard and rose to the position of Advanced Senior Therapist.  Following Hoar Cross Hall, I hired a small treatment room part-time to fulfil an ambition I had, which was to work for myself.  During this time I met Lisa, who became a regular client of mine.  After 12 months at the salon, I then decided to go completely mobile and joined Lisa at Pink Elegance, as we felt it would be a great opportunity to combine our skills and experience and offer Spa Treatments in the comfort of the clients’ home; the extra bonus was a great friendship was also born.
